Former internationals Stephen Donald and Quade Cooper are being considered as recruits for Irish rugby club Ulster.
Ulster hope to announce the signing of a new first five within the next week.
Australian Christian Lealiifano, who joined on a short‑term contract in August, will leave the province after the final Champions Cup pool match against Wasps on 21st January.
Donald is currently playing in Japan, while Cooper is without a job after being told by the Queensland Reds that he is not needed.
