Former Queen Victoria School Head Boy, Mesulame Dolokoto has been named as the new captain of the Swire Shipping Fiji Warriors team that will be travelling to play at the Nations Cup in Uruguay next week.
Dolokoto has just joined the Warriors this year and has impressed coach Senirusi Seruvakula with his leadership qualities.
The 23-year-old who had spent a few years with the ACT Brumbies returned to Fiji last year after he was injured.
He never thought that he will be picked to lead the Warriors.
The Warriors players were presented with their new jerseys from Swire Shipping Services this morning.
They will leave our shores next Tuesday and will play Uruguay, Argentina XV and Emerging Italy from the 2nd to the 10th of next month.
The Warriors will play Uruguay at 6am on June 3rd.
