Do or Die for Lelean U18 ahead of Deans competition

It’s a do or die for the Lelean Memorial School U18 rugby team as they have one last chance to qualify for the Coke Zero Deans quarterfinals later this month.

Lelean will be facing Saint Johns College, the team that has been described as the “Giant Killers” of Eastern Zone.

Lelean Memorial School Vice Principal, Marika Sovaki says they know the danger that Cawaci posses and they are ready for it.

Lelean and Saint Johns College have met twice this season and have recorded a win each.

The third place play off between Lelean Memorial School U18 and Saint Johns College kicks off at 9.50am Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Meanwhile Marist Brothers High School U18 will play John Wesley College in the Southern Zone playoffs at 12.30pm Saturday at Bidesi Park. 

In other zone finals on Saturday, QVS will meet RKS at 3.40pm at Ratu Cakobau Park, Ratu Navula College will face Cuvu College at 3.15pm at Prince Charles Park while Suva Grammar School will face Nasinu Secondary School at 3pm at Buckhurst Park.
