“Discipline will be the Key”
This is the advice from former Labasa player Pita Bolaitoga as the side prepares for the Ink Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament this weekend.
Bolaitoga who currently plays for Hekari United will not feature for Labasa until the transfer window opens next month and that will enable him to be available for the IDC.
Bolaitoga said he is confident that Labasa will have a good chance of winning the tournament given the caliber of players in the team.
Labasa will be boosted with the services of experience players like Taione Kerevanua, Ilisoni Logaivau, Pene Erenio, Jesoni Takala and Apisalome Turuva.
Labasa last won the BOG title in 1997 when they beat Nadi 1-nil in the final.
Labasa will play Rewa at 1pm this Friday.
In other matches Nadroga will face Suva at 3pm, Lautoka will play Navua at 5.30pm and Ba will host Nadi at 7.30pm.
