A development squad could be introduced next season to help coach Gareth Baber prepare a strong team for the World Sevens series, Rugby World Cup and Commonwealth Games next year.

Baber says he will personally look at developing two squads next season to ensure that there would be more consistency in the team.

He says this would include increasing the number in the training group and also rotating players in the different tournaments.

Baber adds that the two squads will help meet the difficult competition schedule next year.

In the London 7s this weekend, Fiji plays Canada at 9.30pm Saturday, we play Japan at 12.36am Sunday while Fiji takes on NZ at 4.04am Sunday.

The medal quarter finals start at 10.58pm Sunday, the semis will be played at 2.48am Monday while the medal final will kick off at 5.57am Monday.
