Suva Grammar School has booked a quarterfinal spot after they defeated Central College Lautoka 22-15 in the U19 grade of the 2018 Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Competition.
Other quarter finalists have not been confirmed as yet.
Grammar had earlier defeated Ratu Navula College 29-4 and in other results of the U19 grade, Central College defeated RSMS 22-7 and Jasper beat DAV Girls College 26-7.
Grammar will take on Saint Bede’s College in their last pool game this morning although they have already booked a spot in the quarters.
The U17 games saw defending champion, ACS defeat Nasau Secondary 21-5 while Jasper Williams High School edged Holy Family 8-6.
In the U15 game, St Joseph’s Secondary School defeated St Francis College 24-6.
And in the new U14 grade, ACS defeated LDS College 16-10 while Grammar overcame Votualevu College 26-5.
There were two upsets in the Open Grade where last year’s champions, ACS lost to Drasa Secondary by 15-7 while Nakauvadra College overcame last year’s runner up, Ratu Navula College 9-6.
In the Men’s games, Nadi Muslim is on the right track to defending their title as they edged Savusavu Secondary School 6-2.
The quarter finals, semi finals and the finals will be held at Central College Lautoka today.
