Defending champions Wardens makes a good start to Martintar 7s tournament

Martintar 7s defending champion Wardens has made a good start in the tournament this morning with wins in both their first two pool matches.

They defeated Mosi Vei Yau Brothers with a win by default and went on to thrash Katudrau, a team all the way from Gau 34-5.

Meanwhile, McDonalds Saunaka is the other team that is looking good in the tournament and has won both their pool matches so far.

They defeated Nasikawa Blues 19-0 and also defeated Coastal Flame Brothers 17-12.

National 7s Player Vatemo Ravouvou and former national player, William Ryder were instrumental in both of Saunaka’s wins with their class and style of rugby.

The Martintar 7s is currently underway at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
