Defending Coral Coast 7s Youth champions qualifies for cup quarterfinals

Defending youth champion of the McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s, Tuva Youth have qualified for the cup quarterfinals.

Tuva Youth dominated all of its pool matches by thumping KK’s Hardware Saunivalu 31-0 in their first match and defeated Nailaga Rugby 17-5 in their second match and then crushed Sigatoka Young Boys 19-0.

Meanwhile, the Ratu Filise Youth team also started off with a great performance when they defeated Lakeba 22-7 and Gaunavou 26-19 and then defeated Rush Academy Wolf Pack 19-5 in their last pool match.

In other matches, Kings 7s select team defeated Dominion Brothers 12-7, Kings 7s select thrashed Dratabu Youth team 22-7, Lakeba defeated Rush Academy Wolf Pack 17-7 and Gaunavou drew with Lakeba 17 all.

In the first Quarter final Tuva Youth will face Gaunavou, King 7s Select will take on Ravuka Sharks, KISSP Investment Wesley Fijians battles Vueti Cakau and Sigatoka Young Boys will face Ratu Filise youth in the last cup quarter.

The Coral Coast 7s Youth quarter finals will begin at 10.40am today.

The men’s competition will be tomorrow and Saturday while the Women’s competition will be held today and tomorrow.
