The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under 18 team will be using their strong defence structure to counter Cuvu College in the Coke Zero Deans semifinal this Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
RKS principal Peni Senikarawa believes they have a lot to work on after their narrow win over Marist Brothers High School last week.
Senikarawa says that being part of the Eastern Zone has pushed them to become lethal and handle the pressure when it comes.
RKS will field teams from Under 14 to Under 19 grades and Senikarawa is calling on all RKS supporters to come out in numbers to support the teams.
Some of the players who were outstanding for RKS last week include fullback Saint George Sisi Talei, center Jiuta Wainiqolo, wing Kameli Sauduadua and no.8 Anuilagi Mirialolo.
RKS last held the Deans trophy in 2015 when they beat Marist Brothers High School 8‑5.
RKS will take on Cuvu College at 1:50pm Saturday in the first semifinal while QVS will take on Saint John’s College at 3:30pm.
