Watford’s Troy Deeney will face no formal action after his middle finger gesture following their 4-1 win against Chelsea earlier this week.
The Football Association had referred a video of Deeney’s goal celebration to a panel of the match’s three former officials.
According to BBC Sports, the officials were not in full agreement on whether it was a red card offense or not, hence no disciplinary action will be taken against the 29-year-old.
The Football Association will issue a written warning to Deeney.
The 29-year-old said his actions were a response to "transfer speculation".
Deeney, after receiving two red cards this season had been banned from four matches.
