Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber has named the team that will represent Fiji at the fifth round of the 2017 HSBC World 7s Series in Las Vegas and Vancouver.
The selection sees the return of Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Apisai Domolailai and Waisea Nacuqu with the bulk of players that represented Fiji at the Wellington and Sydney 7s retained for this leg.
Baber says that he was pleased with the work that the players had put in given the short turnaround.
Baber adds that Dakuwaqa and Domolailai come in with strong leadership while the return of Nacuqu was impressive during their training.
The other players that make the final team include Kalione Nasoko, Mesulame Kunavula, Nemani Nagusa, Setareki Bituniyata, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Jerry Tuwai, Alivereti Veitokani, Vatemo Ravouvou, Samisoni Viriviri, Joeli Lutumailagi and captain Osea Kolinisau.
Fiji will take on Japan at 12.09pm next Saturday in the first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s.
