Injured All Blacks back Israel Dagg has confirmed a six‑week wait until his return to Super Rugby after successful knee operation.

Dagg injured his knee during the Crusaders' win over the Queensland Reds in Brisbane in Round 3.

He is one of several All Black backs sidelined by injury in recent weeks, with Highlander Waisake Naholo and Hurricane’s Nehe Milner‑Skudder both expected to return at a similar time.

Meanwhile, the Crusaders have confirmed that All Blacks captain Kieran Read remains on track for a return in mid‑April.

The Crusaders will take on the Force at 6:35pm on Friday, while the Rebels will take on the Waratahs at 8.35pm.

The Blues will take on the Bulls at 6.35pm this Saturday, while the Brumbies will play the Highlanders at 8.45pm.
