Queensland Reds prop Taniela Tupou has asked for donations after his family home was among dozens flattened when Cyclone Gita battered Tonga and is hoping they can collect some money during the Reds and Fiji Warriors pre-season match tomorrow night.
The Category 5 Cyclone destroyed the Pacific nation's parliament building and badly damaged an estimated 40 percent of homes in Nukualofa.
The Fiji Warriors who were also part of the Fiji Giants team to the Brisbane Global 10's will use this game as a build up to their domestic competition.
It will also create more exposer for new players in the team.
Reds center Samu Kerevi along with new signing Filipo Daugunu are expected to feature for the Reds tomorrow.
The Reds will take on the Fiji Warriors at 9pm tomorrow at Ballymore Stadium.
