Former Marist Brothers High School athlete and Crusaders winger Manasa Mataele has sent his well wishes to all the athletes that will be participating in this weekend’s Coca-Cola Games.
Mataele was part of the Marist relay team two years that won the inter boys 4x100 metres with Albert Miller Junior, Simon Lilicama and Apolosi Ratumudu.
He believes the boys from Kaunikuila will successfully defend the Coke Games title again this year.
More than 2,400 athletes from 143 schools around the country will be participating in the 2017 Coca-Cola Games.
The defending champions are Marist Brothers High School and Jasper Williams High School.
The Coca-Cola Games will start at 2pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium and will end on Saturday.
The events that will be held tomorrow are the 100 metres and 400 metres heats, 1,500 metres and some field events.
