The Crusaders thrashed the Reds 31-3 in their Super Rugby pre-season match last night.
After going into halftime three points in front, a penalty try, two scores from George Bridge and one from Jordan Taufua eventually left the Reds well in arrears.
It was certainly not the confidence booster Richard Graham's team had hoped for three weeks before their season starts against the NSW Waratahs.
Reds had the services of Fijian born Samu Kerevi, Eto Nabuli and Chris Kuridrani.
Crusaders had Nemani Nadolo, Ben Volavola and Jone Macilai.
