Crusaders prop Joe Moody faces a nervous wait to see if he will be available to take on the Blues on Saturday.
Moody has been cited by SANZAAR for alleged foul play during the Crusaders come from behind 31‑29 victory over the Waratahs last night.
Moody made contact with Waratahs second‑five Kurtley Beale in the 35th minute ‑ just seconds before he scored the Crusaders first try.
Upon further review of the match footage, the citing commissioner deemed in his opinion the incident had met the red card threshold for foul play.
The Waratahs match was Moody's first Super Rugby appearance of the season.
In other Super Rugby results, the Hurricanes beat the Blues 36-15, the Sunwolves thrashed the Reds 63-28, Highlanders defeated the Lions 39-27, Rebels beat the Brumbies 27-24, Chiefs beat the Stormers 15-9 and the Bulls defeated the Sharks 39-33.
