Crusaders players help plant 12,000 mangroves along Nasese

Some Crusaders players helped plant 12,000 mangroves along Nasese today.

They included former All Black wing Israel Dagg, Manasa Mataele and Ere Enari.

Staff from the Ministry of Forestry and Fiji Airways were also part of the mangrove planting activity.

The intiative is part of the commitment by Fiji Airways to help protect Fiji’s vital coastlines and mitigate our carbon emissions.

Fiji Airways has pledged to plant one tree every time one of its aircraft takes off.

The initiative is called Every Takeoff...One Tree and Fiji Airways, with the kind support of the Fijian Ministry of Forests, has planted over 13,000 mangrove trees since 2017.
