Crusaders lead Overall Combined Super Rugby standings

The Crusaders continue to lead the Overall Combined Super Rugby standings after Round 8.

They are the only undefeated team in the competition this season and lead the table with 31 points.

In second place are the Lions with 28 points, third are the Stormers with 26 points and the Brumbies are fourth with 17 points.

A re-look at the Super Rugby results at the weekend, the Crusaders thrashed the Sunwolves 50 points to 3, the Reds beat the Kings 47-34, the Hurricanes defeated the Blues 28-24, the Rebels beat the Brumbies 19-17, the Chiefs defeated the Cheetahs 41-27, the Lions ended the Stormers unbeaten run with  a 29-16 win and the Bulls defeated the Jaguares 26-13.

This week, the Hurricanes meet the Brumbies at 7.35pm Friday, the Lions meet the Jaguares at 6am Saturday and the Crusaders clash with the Stormers at 7.35pm Saturday.
