The Crusaders have appointed All Blacks Ryan Crotty and Matt Todd as vice‑captains for the 2017 season.
They will back up captain Sam Whitelock, who has taken over the Crusaders' leadership from All Blacks skipper Kieran Read.
Crotty, 28, has played 107 games for the Crusaders since 2009.
Todd, 28, has worn the jersey 94 times since his 2011 debut.
Incumbent All Blacks Joe Moody, Wyatt Crockett, Codie Taylor and Luke Romano are on the bench.
