Portugal’s Manager Fernando Santos has admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo will need to take more than one shot in their Euro 2016 quarterfinal clash with Poland tomorrow.
The Real Madrid star managed just a single attempt in Portugal’s 1-0 Round-of-16 victory against Croatia.
Portugal is the only team to have reached the quarterfinals of the European Championship in every tournament since 1996.
Cristiano Ronaldo has played in more games than any other player at European Championship finals and is only one goal short of Michel Platini’s record of nine goals in the competition.
Portugal will clash with Poland in the first quarterfinal of Euro 2016 at 7am tomorrow.
