Copeland and Seavula aiming for best performance at Rio Olympics

Team Fiji’s wild card entries in athletics, Leslie Copeland and Sisilia Seavula are aiming to achieve their best performance at the Rio Olympics.

This has been confirmed by the Manager of Fiji Athletics to Rio, Joe Rodan Jnr who says that both athletes will be giving their best.

Rodan says that Copeland is aiming to throw a distance of 83 metres in Javelin which can automatically put him in the final.

Meanwhile Sisilia Seavula along with her coach, Bola Tafou will be aiming to run a better time in the 100 metres.

Seavula’s personal best at the Melanesian Games was 12.2 seconds.

The athletics contingent to Rio include Joe Rodan Junior as the section manager, Copeland and his coach James Goulding, and Seavula and her coach Bola Tafou.
