The Congo Waimanu Rugby 7's team will be fielding a fairly young team at this weekend’s Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
Head Coach Asaeli Naiteqe says his team may have the smallest backline and forwards this weekend, however, they will be playing with a lot of heart.
Congo Waimanu has been impressive in the tournaments leading up to the Marist 7's this weekend after having reached the final of the Uluinaku 7's last weekend losing to Tabadamu Blue 24-19.
They also reached the semifinal of the Nawaka 7's but lost out to Police 7's team.
Congo Waimanu are in Pool 14 with FTG Rugby, Island Brothers and Shipping Services Suva Stallions.
Meanwhile, Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber will be releasing some of his players to play for their clubs this weekend.
The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
