Republic of Ireland and Everton defender Seamus Coleman has undergone surgery following a horrific leg break in Friday's goalless draw against Wales.
The 28-year-old Everton full‑back suffered tibia and fibula fractures in his right leg following a bad challenge from Neil Taylor, who was given a red card.
Republic of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill says that Seamus was taken straight to St Vincent's University Hospital immediately after the incident.
Meanwhile, the English Premier League games will continue again from next week when Everton play Liverpool at 11.30pm
