Chiefs CEO Michael Collins says his side was looking forward to another opportunity to grow the game in the Pacific.
Collins says the Fijian people have been great supporters of the Super Rugby matches they have played in Suva, and Fiji has added a lot to rugby in New Zealand over the years, so they are really pleased to be able to take another game there.
He says the Chiefs have played in Suva the past three years, including the very first Super Rugby game played in the islands adding they have a close connection with Fiji and it feels like a home away from home and a real part of our Chiefs territory.
The Chiefs will play the Crusaders at the ANZ Stadium on the 1st of June next year.
