The Chiefs have named their team to face the Highlanders tomorrow night.
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says the players have recovered well after their game last week.
Rennie has made a few changes to their run‑on fifteen with Michael Fitzgerald starting at lock replacing World Player of the Year Brodie Retallick, who is expected to be out for 4 to 6 weeks with a joint injury.
Johan (YOHAN) Bardoul will start in the loose forwards with Liam Messam bracketed with Ma-ama Vaipulu at No 8, while Messam awaits concussion clearance.
Super Rugby centurion Hosea Gear comes back into the side on the right wing.
Michael Allardice and Japanese captain Michael Leitch will get the chance to make their Super Rugby debut off the bench.
Andrew Horrell will also get his first match of the season.
The Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 6.35pm tomorrow while the Brumbies play the Force at 8.40pm.
