Chiefs Coach Colin Cooper admits McKenzie is irreplaceable

Chiefs Coach Colin Cooper has admitted that Damian McKenzie is essentially irreplaceable on an individual level and that is the impact the star player has on his Super Rugby team.

McKenzie is currently injured.

Cooper says that this is disappointing for him and the team.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs meet the Lions at 7.35pm Friday and the Sunwolves take on the Hurricanes at 10pm Friday.

On Saturday, the Sharks take on the Reds at 1.05am, the Blues will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm this Saturday, the Waratahs will play the Rebels at 9.45pm while the Stormers will take on the Brumbies at 1.05am Sunday.
