Cherry-Evans helps Sea Eagles claim win over Sharks

Manly Sea Eagles Skipper Daly Cherry‑Evans added three try‑assists to his case for an Origin recall in a 35‑18 win over the Sharks last night.

In another match last night, a stunning comeback was made as the  Dragons defeated the Newcastle Knights 32‑28.

The Knights were leading 28-10 at halftime as they faced their 21st straight loss.

In other matches, the Roosters edged the Storm 25-24, the Broncos beat the Raiders 30-20,while the Cowboys defeated the Panthers 14-12.

At the end of round 16, the Storm are leading the NRL points table with 26 points, the Roosters are second with 22 points, the Sharks also with 22 points but are third with point differential.
