Wallabies coach Michael Cheika will soon start preparing his bid to bring former NSW Waratahs star Kurtley Beale back home.
Beale agreed to a Australian 1.45 million dollars per year deal with English Premiership side Wasps last year and, after finally recovering from a long‑term knee injury.
Cheika is desperate to have Beale back in Super Rugby as soon as possible, as he continues on his mission to build depth in Australian rugby.
With the 2019 World Cup in Japan fast approaching, Cheika says he will definitely put his case to Beale before the premiership campaign ends in May.
He says if successful, it could mean an early pre‑finals gift for the Waratahs.
