Wallabies coach Michael Cheika says he would have no hesitation in starting Quade Cooper at inside centre for Saturday's must win Bledisloe Cup Test against the All Blacks in Wellington.
Cooper hasn't featured for the Wallabies since Australia's big win over Uruguay during last year's World Cup.
But following Saturday's shattering 34‑point loss to the All Blacks, which saw three inside centre options pick up injuries C Matt Giteau , Matt Toomua and Rob Horne, Cheika is exploring every available option there is to fill the No 12 jersey.
While it's expected Cooper will feature in the squad, after the decimation of the squad's playmakers, it would be somewhat of a risk to start the 28‑year‑old at inside centre, particularly given his last match for Toulon was in May.
The Wallabies play the All Blacks at 7.35pm this Saturday.
