Can the Vodafone Fiji Bati cause another major upset in the Rugby League World Cup?

Last week Tonga became the first tier two nation to beat a tier one nation in Rugby League when they beat New Zealand 28-22.

However, former Fiji Bati captain and Manager Petero Civoniceva says this is the first time they will be playing New Zealand and they are excited about the opportunity.

Civoniceva adds that despite the uphill battle they will face against the second-ranked team in the world, they believe they have enough firepower to cause another upset.

The Fiji Bati will take on New Zealand at 7.30pm Saturday.

In other quarterfinals, Australia will play Samoa at 10.30pm Friday, Tonga will face Lebanon at 5pm Saturday while England will take on PNG at 6pm Sunday.

The winner of the Fiji and New Zealand match will play the winner of the Australia and Samoa match.
