Can Fiji defend their Las Vegas 7s title next weekend?

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will head into the Las Vegas 7s as defending champions and also the team with three wins in USA.

The only other team with three wins in USA is South Africa.

Last year’s tournament was a memorable one when Fiji was down 15-0 at half time to Australia.

The national side then regrouped and made a comeback in the second half to score three tries and win 19-15.

Fiji won in USA in 2007, 2015 and last year.

Fiji is pooled with Japan, Australia and Scotland in the Las Vegas 7s.

The Las Vegas tournament will kick off next Saturday.

Fiji will take on Japan at 12.09pm next Saturday, we will take on Scotland at 3.08pm next Saturday while Fiji plays it’s final pool match against Australia at 9.50am next Sunday.

The Medal quarter finals start at 4.16pm next Sunday, the semis will be held at 9.44am Monday while the final will kick off at 1pm Monday.
