The Canterbury Bulldogs have broken a four‑game losing streak to upset the Manly Sea Eagles 30‑16 in last night’s Round 24 of NRL.
The Bulldogs had not scored over 24 points in a game this season and the last time they failed to do that was all the way back in 1978.
Wingers Marcelo Montoya and Brett Morris scored two tries each for the Bulldogs while fullback Will Hopoate played a starring role setting up three tries and running 132 metres.
Looking at the NRL points table after Round 24, the Melbourne Storm still leads with 40 points, the Broncos are currently sitting in second place with 34 points while the Roosters are in third place also with 34 points.
