The Brisbane Broncos are eyeing off a top‑two position with three weeks to go in the NRL season.
The Broncos players believe finishing second on the ladder was the key to their run to the grand final and their fate is once again in their own hands.
Meanwhile, the first‑placed Melbourne Storm are out of reach, but two wins from their next three matches would secure a top‑two finish for the Broncos, assuming the third‑placed Sydney Roosters drop at least one game during their run home.
The Melbourne Storm are currently leading the NRL points table with 38 points, the Broncos are second place with 32 points while the Roosters are in third place with 32 points.
The Broncos will take on the Dragons at 9.50pm Friday while the Eels will take on the Titans at 9.50pm tomorrow.
