Brighton have sacked manager Chris Hughton after finishing 17th in the English Premier League.
They have won only three of their last 23 league games and none of their final nine.
Hughton led the club to the Premier League for the first time in 2017, and they finished 15th in their first season back in the top flight.
Manchester City yesterday defeated Brighton 4-1 to successfully retain their English Premier League title for the second time.
City finished in first place with 98 points while Liverpool finished in second place with 97 points.
The goals for City were scored by Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and lkay Gündogan.
Chelsea finished in 3rd place with 72 points while Tottenham Hotspurs finished in fourth place with 71 points.
