Usain Bolt has beaten Justin Gatlin to win the 100m title at the World Athletics Championships in China.
Bolt had stumbled out of the blocks in winning his semi‑final but managed to run a season's best time of 9.79 seconds to win in the final.
Justin Gatlin had been unbeaten in 28 races and started off as favourite after running a fast time in his semi‑final.
This is the third time where Bolt has won GOLD at the World Athletics Championships.
Meanwhile Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro failed to qualify for the semifinals of the World Athletics Championships.
He came second last with a time of 10.41 seconds in the heats.
Tabakaucoro earlier clocked a time of 10.50 seconds in the preliminary round where he came second.
He needed to clock a time 10.16 seconds to hit the Rio Olympics qualification.
