Todd Blackadder has warned the All Blacks that Ireland is capable of stopping their record run.
The Former All Blacks skipper Blackadder is now making an impact with Bath in the English Premiership after his long service with the Crusaders.
Blackadder believes the All Blacks will be too clever and focused to drop their guard but he says Ireland under their Kiwi coach Joe Schmidt is a team that deserves respect and must be taken seriously over the two tests in Chicago and Dublin.
Ireland has never beaten the All Blacks.
New Zealand also play Italy and France on their northern tour and Blackadder has suggested the All Blacks might be their own worst enemies as they look to extend their run of 18 consecutive test victories.
