Jordie Barrett has been given the nod to start for the Hurricanes in Saturday's Super Rugby derby against the Highlanders.
Coach Chris Boyd has made three changes to the lineup, with the younger Barrett brother starting in place of Nehe Milner‑Skudder, while Chris Eves replaces Loni Uhila at prop.
Milner‑Skudder is out for six weeks with a fractured foot while Uhila is suffering from a calf injury following last week's 26‑18 loss to the Chiefs.
Callum Gibbins also joins the forward back at openside flanker, forcing Ardie Savea to shift to No. 8 with Reed Prinsep heading to the bench.
The Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 6.35pm this Saturday while the Brumbies will take on the Waratahs at 8.45pm.
Meanwhile the Crusaders will take on Blues at 6.35pm tomorrow night while the Rebels will play the Chiefs at 8.45pm.
