Fiji’s sprinter Banuve Tabakaucoro has qualified to the semi-finals of the mens 200m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Tabakaucoro ran atime of 21.04 seconds and came second in his heat while Ncincilili Titi of South Africa came first clocking the time of 20.66 seconds.
The Men’s 200m fastest time in the heats was clocked by Michael Mathieu from the Bahamas with 20.55 seconds.
Tabakaucoro will be among the 26 semi-finalist that will be competing at 5.32am Saturday.
Looking at the medal tally, England is leading with 37 gold, 34 silver and 30 bronze, Australia is second with 34 gold, 32 silver and 38 bronze, Canada is third with 22 gold, 7 silver and 21 bronze.
Meanwhile Fiji is in the 28th place with 1 bronze.
