Bai shines for Cuvu College, new winner to be crowned in Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship

A new winner will be crowned in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship as defending champion Nukuloa College lost 1-0 to Kamil Muslim College in the third quarterfinal. 

Kamil Muslim College will play Cuvu College in the first Under 19 semifinal at 8am today while Baulevu High School will face Savusavu Secondary in the second semifinal.

Cuvu College defeated DAV College Suva 2-0 in the first quarterfinal at Ratu Cakobau Park.

In two other quarterfinals, Baulevu High School edged Nadi Muslim College 2-1 while Savusavu Secondary defeated Shree Gurunanak Khalsa College 5-2 in penalties.

The final of the Under 19 grade will be played at 1.30pm today at the Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Vatuwaqa. 

Meanwhile, Kamil Muslim College has won the Under 17 title after beating Seaqaqa Central College 1-0 in the final.

Kamil received  $500 prize money.

The Under 15 final will be played between A D Patel College and Seaqaqa Central College today.
