Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Gareth Baber is yet to make any decision on whether playmaker, Vatemo Ravouvou will play in this weekend’s Singapore 7s.
Tabadamu playmaker, Terry Tamani was included as the 13th player and could replace Ravouvou if he did not recover from the flu he had.
Meanwhile, the national side has settled in well in Singapore yesterday.
Singapore is the eighth of the 10‑stop series, with the London and Paris legs still to come.
South Africa lead the standings with 126 points while Fiji is three points behind.
New Zealand is the only other possible contender for the series, but their 107‑point total means a charge for the series title must start in Singapore.
Fiji will take on Japan at 5.36pm this Saturday.
They will then play Russia at 9.02pm Saturday before playing their final pool match against Spain at 12.28am Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals will begin at 4.30pm Sunday, the semifinals will begin at 8.50pm Sunday while the Cup Final is at 12 am Monday.
Barring any upsets, they will meet Australia or Scotland in the quarter-final, USA or Argentina in the semifinal, South Africa or New Zealand in the final.
