Fiji Airways Men’s National 7's Coach, Gareth Baber has a huge task ahead of him to win the last two tournaments as it will mark his first ever series title win.
With Fiji trailing USA with a 3 points differential, Baber says they know the challenge ahead of them where they have a mission going into the next two tournaments and he believes the players he has chosen will deliver.
Baber also highlighted that he is working hard to get players that are consistent and with the return of key playmaker Waisea Nacuqu who has recovered from a collar‑bone fracture sustained in Las Vegas and Jerry Tuwai’s recovery will boost the teams morale.
Fiji is the only team that has won 3 tournaments in this series including Cape Town, Hamilton and Hong Kong 7's.
Fiji will meet Kenya in their first pool match of the London 7s at 9.36pm Saturday, they will take on France at 12.42am Sunday and will play their last pool match against Samoa at 3.48am Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 9.58pm Sunday, Cup semifinals will start at 1.48am Monday and the Cup final will be played at 4.57am Monday.
Barring any upsets, the Fiji is likely to meet England or Scotland in the quarter final, they are likely to take on USA or Argentina in the semifinal, or New Zealand or South Africa in the final.
