Baber to name his squad for Dubai today

Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team coach Gareth Baber has confirmed that Kalione Nasoko will remain as team captain.

Baber had praised Nasoko’s performance in the Oceania 7s.

Baber had said that Nasoko continued to bring the uniqueness of the style of rugby he is known for that is offload, delivery, consistency and solid on the field.

As the national team gets ready for the first leg of the HSBC World 7s series, Baber is expected to name his squad today.

Baber says some of the younger players that took part in a 7s tournament in Japan during the weekend of the Oceania 7s have also impressed him.

The team is expected to depart for Dubai this Friday.

The Dubai 7s starts next Friday and Fiji is pooled with France, Kenya and Scotland.
