Baber to look for new talent during Marist 7s

Local rugby players at this weekends Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will have the opportunity to impress Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Gareth Baber for a chance to join the national squad ahead of the Hong Kong 7s.

In an interview with Fijivillage, Baber confirmed that he will be at the Marist 7s adding that he has not made any decisions on the players who he will take to the Hong Kong 7's.

Baber says he is hopeful to see an array of talent as players such as Alasio Naduva and Terio Tamani were also scouted from previous Marist 7.

The Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
