Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber is likely to make some changes to the national side as they head to the Las Vegas and Vancouver 7s.
Apisai Domolailai and Masivesi Dakuwaqa are expected to make their way back into the final team along with Waisea Nacuqu who has been impressive in training in the past two weeks.
Domolailai says he was happy to have his fitness back and is hoping to make the final team.
He adds that they have been working on addressing the issue of discipline, defence and controlling possession.
Some players that are expected to miss out include Amenoni Nasilasila, Nacanieli Labalaba and Emosi Mulevoro.
The other players who are expected to make the final team include Kalione Nasoko, Mesulame Kunavula, Nemani Nagusa, Setareki Bituniyata, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Jerry Tuwai, Alivereti Veitokani, Vatemo Ravouvou, Samisoni Viriviri, Joeli Lutumailagi and captain Osea Kolinisau.
Baber says they have been working hard over the past two weeks and are looking forward to the tournament next week.
Fiji will take on Japan at 12.09pm next Saturday in the first pool match of the Las Vegas 7s. We will take on Scotland at 3.08pm next Saturday while Fiji plays its final pool match against Australia at 9.50am next Sunday.
The Medal quarter finals start at 4.16pm next Sunday, the semis will be held at 9.44am Monday while the final will kick off at 1pm Monday.
