Ba to miss Takiate while Dave expected to play a key role for Suva

Ba will be without top defender Remeru Takiate for their semifinal clash against Suva this afternoon in the Courts IDC.

He was red carded in their final pool match against Dreketi.

However Ba will get the services of Saula Waqa after he has served his suspension.

Suva, on the other hand, will rely on the goal-scoring prowess of Sahil Dave who has scored 4 goals so far.

Other key players in the Capital City side are Setareki Hughes, Ravinesh Karan Singh and Waisake Navunigasau.

The Lautoka and Rewa match will be another thriller that fans can expect as both teams are laced with national reps.

Lautoka has the services of Kolinio Sivoki, Christopher Wasasala, and Dave Radrigai while Rewa’s hopes will be carried by the likes of Iosefo Verevou, Epeli Saukuru and Simione Tamanisau.

Lautoka takes on Rewa at 3pm and Ba faces Suva at 5pm.

Meanwhile, Navua has qualified for the Senior division final after beating Savusavu 4-1 in the first semifinal. 

The second semifinal between Tailevu Naitasiri and Nadroga is underway.
