Ba thrashes Rewa in VPL

Ba has beaten Rewa 4-0 at Govind Park in their Vodafone Premier League match.

Malakai Tiwa scored a hat-trick in the match while Sitiveni Cavuilagi also scored for Ba.

Ba coach Ronil Kumar says their combinations are slowly starting to show.

The half time score was 1-0.

Rewa striker Iosefo Verevou was also shown a red card in the match.

Ba now has 22 points and are second in the VPL points table.

Meanwhile, Dreketi beat Rakiraki 1-0.

Dreketi has 7 points and Rakiraki is now in danger of being relegated.

Three matches will be played at 3pm today where Ba will meet Dreketi, Lautoka will meet Suva and Nadi will meet Rewa.

Lautoka just need a draw in their match against Suva to win the Vodafone Premier League.
