Following the clearance of two Ba players who were tested positive for drug use earlier this year, Ba Soccer Team Coach Roneel Kumar says that the players are constantly being counseled.
He says this is to prevent a repeat of the offence.
Kumar says they are having sessions with the whole team about drug use and the consequences of this on their careers.
Kumar says in the counseling sessions, the players are shown examples of other players around the country who have paid the price for drug abuse.
He says the players also talk within these counseling sessions so they can help their peers understand the issues relating to drug abuse.
4 Ba players who were part of the Fiji Under 23 trials tested positive for drug use earlier this year.
Ba will take on defending Champions Team Wellington in their first OFC Champions League pool match at 3pm this Saturday in Vanuatu. The team will leave for Vanuatu tomorrow.
The Men in Black are pooled with Team Wellington, Erakor Golden Star and Kiwi FC.
