The Ba rugby team’s chances of qualifying for the semifinals and defending their B Division title have received a major boost.
This comes as former Crusaders and Flying Fijian wing Vilimoni Delasau, Vodafone Fiji 7s players Pio Tuwai and Waisea Nacuqu are expected to feature for Ba as they take on Yasawa in their last pool match this afternoon.
Ba Rugby Union Secretary, Selesio Gukirewa confirms that Delasau, Tuwai and Nacuqu have been training with the team and their presence has lifted the morale of the players.
Being coached by former Flying Fijian, Gabriel Naborisi, the side will be hoping to win the B division title and a chance to challenge the HFC Bank Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.
Ba has won their last two pool matches over Malolo and Beqa and they will need to beat Yasawa to confirm their place in the semifinals.
Ba will take on Yasawa at 3pm today at Churchill Park.
