BLK Nadroga, Hideaway Hurricanes, Mala Young Boys, Nasonini Babas, McDonald Saunaka, Police LSD Army and Ratu Filise have booked their spot in the quarter finals of the Matintar 7s tournament that is currently underway at Prince Charles Park.
The biggest upset of the day came as BLK Nadroga defeated the defending champions, Wardens 14-10 in the first elimination match to book their spot in the quarters.
Hideaway Hurricanes edged New Born Yasawa 7-5 in the second elimination match while Malamala Young Boys defeated Fire 12-5.
Nasonini Barbers thrashed Whyndom Dratabu 31-7 as McDonald Saunaka defeated Katudrau 21-7.
LSD Army defeated Sigatoka River Safari Henibua 24-19, Police left Malawai Eagles 14-0 while Ratou FIlise defeated Lami Cavaliers 12-7.
BLK Nadroga will now face Hideaway Hurricanes in the first quarterfinal, Mala Young Boys will take on Nasonini Babas, Saunaka will face Police while Ratu Filise will take on LSD Army in the last quarter final.
The Cup quarterfinal will begin at 12pm.
