The Australian Kangaroos have won the Tri-Nations after beating the Vodafone Fiji Bati and the PNG Kumuls at the ANZ Stadium.
The Kangaroos showed why they will be favorites to retain their World Cup crown with a near-perfect performance.
They beat PNG Kumlus 20-4 and defeated Fiji Bati 18-0.
The Kumuls beat the Fiji Bati 10-0.
Australian coach Mal Meninga says he rested Cameron Smith , Cooper Cronk and Billy Slater as they recently played in the NRL grand final.
He says he was happy with performances of some of the new players in the team and was glad that no one was injured.
Fiji failed to score any points.
Suliasi Vunivalu was a constant threat against the Kangaroos making good line breaks and impressive runs while Jarryd Hayne played at playmaker.
Fiji Coach Mick Potter says finishing and fitness is some of the areas that they will need to work on.
